Located in St. Louis, Missouri, this Navy Operational Support Center provides support to Navy Reserve units in the area. The center is responsible for the administration, training, and logistics for Navy Reserve units in the region.

Established in 1808, Jefferson Barracks Air Guard Station has been in operation ever since. That makes it the oldest military installation in Missouri. The base is located in St. Louis, Missouri, and is home to the Missouri Air National Guard's 131st Bomb Wing.

The 509th Bomb Wing is responsible for the training and deployment of aircrews in support of combat operations. In addition to its combat mission, the 509th Bomb Wing also supports several other missions, such as search and rescue.

All units are either new, or have been extensively renovated since 2000. Each home has washer and dryer hook-ups, a garage, and stove and refrigerators are provided. The number of bedrooms available range from two bedrooms to four bedrooms and are divided into enlisted and officer quarters.

The waiting periods for base housing varies from no wait to a 3 month wait, although most are available within 30 days. Military members from E-1 to Senior Officers are eligible to live in Whiteman housing.
